Working on filling this square with pattern-heavy mandala type shapes. I've gotten myself into something deep because this has taken a long time so far. 1st in a series of three, the other 2 pieces consisting of a circle filled with triangular shapes and a triangle filled with square shapes.


I'm also drawing on my shoes like a wanky highschooler.

Just released a program that reads symbols from image and outputs them in format for BitFontMaker2 for creating an actual (TTF) font out of the drawn one:

There's no way of knowing if it'll go unnoticed with releases and celebrations of this time of the year or not.

@Tennis - Cool model, for sure! I think some shine or something to give it a more metallic look could help, but it's really good already!

@SolarLune The style of that looks really cool. I like the philosophy of how your treat your games (as you explained in the Pockette Rox video), I think it's a good mindset. Also the robot knight from Metroidvania is sick. Nice work  Wizard

Awesome, you nailed the style. This looks like what MURI did for Duke Nukem 1, but for Keen.

Hey folks, here is a LINK to a game jam protoype of a project I'm working on called Darkside Detective. It's been proving quite popular on Twitter and Facebook so far. I thought I'd share it with you. We had a lot of fun with it so we decided to turn it into a full game.

Did a game jam game in 12 hours. Was super duper mega fun. And was about a capsizing ship on the high seas. Built a steering wheel out of some polystyrene foam and a big ol' box of cardboard. Enjoy the GIFS!

That looks really fun! Can I get a download?

Just finished adding collapsing walls to a game I'm working on. Pretty much the last big feature that needs to be added.

Awesome! However the particle for speed is quite confusing, especially when it clip through the near plane, maybe if you generate them with a ring geometry around the character, you might also render it on top of all geometry, and if you want to fancy, add some line to teh shader so that it is on top of everything EXCEPT the main character. I would also add at least one frame pose on landing, also just after the jump.

The effect on sword animation is glorious
