A little off topic: Can't believe I called you McMuffin.. Anyways, I'm learning to use unity. I'm making this silly project called "Walking Simulator: 2d Blast" Not much progress so far, I'm still testing around with the Unity 2d controller prefab.

I'm happy with the whole switching mechanic and all, but it just isn't any fun The idea was that the totem grows over time, increasing the difficulty of setting it up correctly when shooting. But it just feels plain annoying to have to switch the totem all the time

What if you switched it around and had to arrange the projectiles instead?

Tonight I've been trying to put togeather this starfield. It doesn't scale well which sucks, but I think it's alright. Here's a gif. It's much too mighty to be posted on the forums apparently. http://i.imgur.com/699BsUN.gifvAnd here's a picture of it from the outside. I just love how it looks.

Wow, that looks really outstanding! You could use that for a bead or a pearl or something similar, I'm sure it would look all mystical and stuff!

Is it just a finely crafted texture, or is there additional magic? It does look great.
Meanwhile assembling a small set of tutorials on how to use Haxe for programming games for Pico-8:

How good is pico-8? I'm considering buying it, but I'd have to learn a whole new programming language, wouldn't I?

Depends. Do you know Lua? Because it's just Lua, with a bunch of custom functions ( list) and no "metatables". So not too hard to pick up I would say.

Thank you! All of the little stars are on a texture while the bigger ones are circle meshes with a flat color shader on them. This way if you were to ever zoom in close to them the edges would still be crisp. Also, some of the larger stars have a point light attached to them that creates a kind of glow effect. Oh, and by the way, I love your icon. Super cute!
