Thanks guys! very much appreciated.
Unfortunately there isn't really anywhere to follow this as of how (except for on twitter I suppose) I am planing on opening up a DevLog here once the project has a bit more direction. We'll basically be prototyping the gameplay over weekends coming up. Using virtual dice and these figurines. Glorified paper-design Tongue We're trying to captivate some of the things we enjoy about playing with miniatures, without some of the things we find tedious. Will also be focusing on storytelling tools both for players and people wanting to make and run campaigns. But while keeping things clean.

That is gorgeous  ... Please tell me they animate when they attack? I mean ... it's still cool if they don't!

Hehe, I want to see how far we can take it without adding any animation to be honest (to keep the art pipeline a bit more manageable. Skinning and animation wise) My initial thought was to just have them knock against each other sort of like I remember doing with action figures as a child. If that doesn't work however, we'll have to consider animation. There are other benefits of skinning the characters of course, which might be worth the time. As they could change their pose opening up for equipment changes and some additional storytelling options.

Thanks Mittens! I was unaware of tabletop simulator. Just picked it up on steam. I'm sure there is a lot there I can learn from.

This actually looks incredible! I love the shadows and lighting, gives the image a really warm touch and depth. And I like how the fields show up when moving the figures (wobble wobble). :) In general, how things move feels very real. Good stuff.

odrez: That makes me very happy to hear! I did put some time into the *wobble wobble*, so good to hear it's being appreciated Smiley
ghosted: It's also good to know that it tickles someone who isn't necessarily into board-games.

shellbot: looking good, love the character. Will be heading over to ScreenshotSaturday thread now to see how this turned out.

There is now also glowing dice:

I'll leave you guys alone now, till we have a more proper update Tongue
Gotta give this thing a name so that we can start up a devlog.

Been working more on the terrain editor yesterday and today. It's getting better, and now it updates in real time both in the editor and in game (Unity)!
