After I long hiatus, and months of doing nothing but fiddling around with Flash, I thought I'd attempt a relatively easy game to get me back into game-making mode. This is a game I started a while back but never finished, so finishing it up should be relatively easy, especially considering it's primarily text (it uses the Fedora Spade engine). Here are some of its backgrounds:

This is from my cockpit compo entry, Tentacle Uprising.



This is Pinky and the Cave, an arena shooter I started writing to flesh out my current engine.  It's almost done but I took a break for the cockpit compo, and I actually have a lot of performance and lighting fixes to that code to integrate that I encountered while working on Tentacle.

yea it's tough. i'm trying to do some negative space stuff and without that triangle you'd have absolutely no chance at seeing the K. i'll work on it more.

Is it even possible to have a WIP mockup?

If not, I somehow managed!

Well here you go. I'm trying to go for a Multiplayer co-operative game with spy tactics and such. My mockup at the moment shows Triangle poised to knockout the guard the is protecting the door. However, he can not do so until the guard has unlocked the door and turned out, or the guard'll turn on the alarm. Square is knocking on the door to distract the guard and make him open the door. He will then run to join the two behind the boxes. When the door is opened, Triangle will either dispense poison into the room to do a secretive kill, or he shall drop down and snap the guards neck. The corpse can then be hidden either behind the boxes or in the garbage tip.

ferrety, that reminds me of this thing I pixelled yyyyeears ago, but more stealthy-based whereas mine involved zombies with guns.

That is really nice. I'm vegetarian, not vegan, but vegan cookbooks are usually very good.

For some reason I always get Ferry Halim mixed up with Perry Farrell. Shocked

This is a bit cheating, but over the course of the past 5 days,  my robot team and I have put in 49 hours and 15 minutes of work into two robots.

the competition we need it for is over now, so back to my game!(and a robot for next year!)

I have such a short attention span I need to work on multiple projects at once. Huh?

* I am writing framework for my website, I need to debug it and it will be finished.

* I am also working on my logo for the indie game dev business I call Monkey Factory, I have yet to decide on the complete design of the logo, whether or not to have a whole gang of monkeys, just this monkey and a body for him or merely the head:


* I am for the moment putting all coding on the epic space battle on hold and is taking the approach that Rinku Hero said in another form post that he does, creating art assets first. Currently working on a rail-cannon:
