What's so wrong with Windows? Huh?

Yeah, I developed an aversion to windows something pow'rful last summer, and began my journey to the land of the Mac OS X / Ubuntu combo. Ultimately, though, running games on Ubuntu was too much bother, and I switched to OSX / XP.

Windows is pretty nasty, but, still, it's not so bad that you can't boot into it to play games.

Akhel: the system settings in general are horribly laid out, the command prompt is rubbish and, basically, just isn't bash, and also I generally just don't like the system's layout, with the windows blocked at the bottom along with the taskbar. Also, I don't like the start menu. Also, I don't like Explorer. I don't actually like ANY of the filesystem UIs I've come across to date, but I dislike Explorer more than Finder.

this confuses me to know end.  I cd somewhere and I'm like "oh good everything is working hunky dory" and then I'm like ls and its like "BAM! no ls for you!"  and then I get frustrated trying to remember that the command is dir and give up...

Yeah. ls is easy to remember. It's like "list." dir is just... it's out there.

Meh, I use whatever works the most.

And for playing games, Windows has to do, so I use Windows.

The day OS X becomes a bigger gaming platform (for the kind of stuff I like to play) than Windows I'll shift over no prob.

I use Windows for gaming, and OSX for everything else. Anyway, let's get back on topic. Someone must be working on something.

I don't know what it is, but I want to have its babies.

I'm working on designing a board game for one of my AP classes. I'd like to make a topic dedicated to it, but I'm not sure where to put it. Any suggestions?

If you just want to show off your work probably Art and Design is good enough, but if you're willing to take suggestions and opinions Feedback would be more appropriate.

Also...

alright back on topic.

The awesome is massive with this one.

That's the villain, I bet, using ancient Astek powers to create an army of undead and monsters.

1: That dudes costume reminds me of the style of the twilight realm. A damn lot.

2: That girl has a very nice knee. And leg.

...I mean it's well drawn.

3: Hug me.

Wow Annabelle, my Aswesome-meter™ just exploded. Shocked
I mean, amazing artwork.

I've drawn these very clichè fantasy icons using Flash for a character creation wizard.
A company asked me to build this wizard as a test for a job application... it was a php/flash coding test, but I just had to draw something too.

i accually just went up and looked at a bunch of pictures and i think its just the masks fault.. the accual construction of the armor is rather different..

i didnt want to get rid of the mask though maybe i should though..

im gonna run some tests.
