Now you're playing with art!

My first impression was that the dinosaur and mushroom were the only things in the image with outlines. Inconsistencies like that have a tendency to mess everything up. The WordArt-style embossed and drop-shadowed is also a whole different thing, visually. Particularly as it's, like, #ff0000 red, where the rest of the graphics look slightly desaturated.

Thanks for the feedback Corpus. I desaturated the sign arrows and will work on keeping outlines away from secondary art.

Aside from what Corpus pointed  out, I really like where that's going, Owen!

Oh, shit, did I actually post that? I got a Skype call half way through writing it and completely forgot to finish. Dunno how I ended up posting it...

Anyway, yeah, I meant to say that the leafy thing in the background is nice, and that red/yellow concentric circle thing in the corner of the GUI is quite an attractive piece of design.

Here's a bunch of trolls.  Because I'm super lazy, I don't make a separate mesh for each type of troll.  Instead I mount various things (masks, weapons, etc.) to differentiate each type.

Hey, this looks interesting. Any specific plans about what this game will be? One step closer to awesomeness would be mesh generation on the fly.

Yeah, I have a devlog for more 'meaty' posts.  I just finished making this lowpoly guys and this thread seemed like a more appropriate venue for them.

Been a while since I had anything to post in this thread!

Been doing a lot of work on the game Bateleur, LeFishy and I started at TIGJam UK - UpBot Goes Up. Today I got a bit of formation-flying in for level completion.

The sequel to Ceramic Shooter:

(Probably will be called something like Ceramic Shooter:  Poeme Electronique)

It's a one-level game synchronized to a ten-minute piece of music.
