Hnngh, lovely pixel art there. I dig the character style too, it's very atypical.

WIP concept piece for a 3D animation project- gonna be building an explorable environment, decided on pulling out an old idea of mine.

Experimenting with procedural explosions. Above is a HTML5 Canvas experiment, below is the sprite used in-game. Turning this into a mini-app, that lets you create usable sprites inside the browser. Downloadable, of course.

We're working on an agile development Zombie Survival RPG at the moment:



A sandbox action RPG where you're thrust into a zombie apocalypse and the only goal is to survive. And you will die eventually.

I am in need of some help. I'm making a game with a friend of mine and decided to leave most of the coding to him to try and force myself to art some more. Right now I am just playing around and I've got a weird mix of styles in there and would love to hear what people think I should to do with it!?

What do you like/dislike? Should I throw it all out or try to do everything in the style of one of the objects?

Yeah, not a fan of the block tiles.  They are nicely done, but they're still block tiles.

They don't have to be blocks but they need to be tiles. It is important for gameplay. Ninja

Also, the balls are actually particles from an explosion. It's hard to tell from the screenshot. They're the last thing I did and really looks out of place even if I quite like them.

I know it's not the kind of useful opinion of style that you were looking for, but I would say change that, if possible.
