@orange08 - Ha ha, that sounds pretty interesting. I like the solid graphics, though I think there's too much black around the players and ground; maybe turn the lowest black line into a dark brown or green line? Also, still plugging away at Soldier Of:

Ha ha, that's funny because I've been hot-linking to that one broken image like crazy. The link should be fixed now. I should probably stop hot-linking to Twitter pictures... (But hey, it's free photo hosting!)

Not sure what you mean there. The style of the game is 2 to 3 pixel wide black outlines for everything. Maybe you could do an edit of it to show me what you think is wrong with it and what you would change?

My stuff just doesn't seem nearly as interesting as all of the other stuff featured in this thread, but figured I'd start a record of my current project in something less daunting than its own thread. Here is a collection of images which touches of some of the things I've been doing this week. I'm working on trying to do a small RPG demo as a learning experience. So nothing full featured or lengthy, but hopefully well polished and fun in the end.

The line around his beard was particularly thick (was some of that shadowing?) Anyway, it just felt like the lines were a bit too thick to be on everything in total black to me, but I like the style. This may not be the way you want to go with it, though.

Thanks.
@Ree - That looks awesome! I like the lighting effect. The guy in the corner is very well-modeled. Awesome job!

I just did an edit and to me, it makes the thing look wrong, especially the eyes. If you still prefer the "new" one, let me know and I'll check it out with some other people on the GMC, too, and see what they think. Also, I saw your project, it looks very neat, I've never seen anything like it before. Good luck with it!

Although I can't disagree with this comment, I must say that the visual style and atmosphere is absolutely hilarious! great in fact. I'm looking forward to see where you're taking this game from here to make it its own. Terraria like a lot of other games was hardly original, but there were specific elements that made it, its own. And I'm sure by taking this further you'll be able to do that too. Currently, it certainly looks the part. *Edit:.* SolarLune: Thanks much appreciated
