I'm playtesting my Versus TIGCompo entry and this happened (click for full size): You can read about (and playtest!) it here.

Ohhh, neat. I'm diggin the art style. I'm making a game about a robot that shoots laser in the head, and with it he defeats the other robots (which are evil).

A game my brother and I are working on. (player sprite is still WIP - he currently blends into the background too much) All of the grass/dirt tiles are automatically placed when the game loads, so all we need to do is create the shape of the level using a bunch of nodes (in Ogmo Editor) and then it places all of the grass for us Still slightly buggy (even in that screenshot you can see some grass that's placed weirdly right above the player), but it's coming along.

Thanks guys! A game my brother and I are working on. (player sprite is still WIP - he currently blends into the background too much) Cool at the fringes, but a bit sparse right now in the green areas ... Yeah I agree. I'm thinking of maybe adding randomly placed textures and such throughout the green area? Might make it feel a bit more interesting.

@Knight: I'm using Flash Punk, which has Pixel Masks. So I just create a pixelmask of the shape before I apply the grass

I got a job improving the look of a (simulated) old-school handheld LCD game. Here's what I got so far. Looking at the device from an angle reveals all LCD segments: And today I added in subtle drop shadows under the turned-on segments:
