I didn't make the DOF filter, and the tree and torch could use some work. I like it, though. Smiley

It's a platformer for iPad and iPhone, and hopefully Android in the future.  You play as a lost crystal ball* trying to find its way home back to a wizard's castle.  It controls with just one finger.  You pull back to aim and release to jump.  You can tap on either side of the ball to boost (or brake) in the opposite direction, or hold on either side to roll it.  It's got a a few puzzle elements and a bit of physics stuff but mostly it's just skill based in aiming and timing your jumps right.  It's also got some power-ups that make you jump higher, fly, stick to surfaces, etc.

The gold star thing inside the ball is just there to show it rolling/moving in a certain direction... we found it's kind of hard to show a clear glass ball doing that otherwise.

I might post some gameplay footage soon but my partners don't want to post the actual trailer yet because there's still some question about the game's name.  They're in the middle of trying to trademark it (which I personally find kind of weird for an indie game... or is that common?  I dunno, I'm just the artist.)

Anyway, good luck on you seven day shooter Smiley.  That's one ambitious challenge.  But it's looking good so far, keep up the good work Beer!

@SolarLune There not point to the consoles or anything yet, but eventually you'll be able to link them to various things to control/interact with them. The power boxes will be used to provide power to a certain number of objects by linking as well. You will spawn in a prebuilt base, and as you gain money and resources you can build additions and stuff.

Those graphics are really interesting - it's a mix of 3D and 2D (or is it rendered 3D sprites)? Either way, nice graphics.

I made a video for my 7DFPS project, though I don't think it's even close to being finished.

It's a mix of both 2d and 3d.  Originally it was all going to be 3d in a side-scrolling orthographic view.  I ended up struggling too much with the the normals not matching up well together at the edges of tiles.  I could get them to match by adding extra polys but it was pushing the vertex count too high for iPhone in places.  Finally I snapped and decided to just draw anything that didn't need to rotate on the Y axis in 2d.  The enemies, pickups, the little charms in the ball are all still 3d though.
