Hopefully, it's modular enough to re-use sections and you can refactor it?

started doing some research on the main character of a project I've just started. Still lots of work as I don't feel it matches the overall mood of the project.
I don't know how far I'll push the project, right now I just want to focus on the art direction, but I hope to make it into a game.

I completely redid the core of it. I'll be able to adapt some of the code, but the changes are significant enough that I can't just keep it as it is.

On the bright side, look what it can do now (with totally dynamic size, of course)

What language ist this in? If you want you can have a look at TWL. Seems like you doing a lot of the stuff this GUI-Framework does.

The character looks really fantastic, my favourite is the fourth one. The second and fourth set of legs are fairly hard to see on a black background (not sure if thats just my monitor). I think the feet may also be 'too side on', maybe you could point them more in the direction he is facing?

Great work though!


Also, im working on the platforming stuff for a small game myself and a friend are doing.. Hopefully he will do nice arty stuff rather than my blinding horrible placeholder work.
