@csaku I think gimp can export to animated gifs

Right you are sir. Gentleman
I fear I was not quite clear enough then. What my script does is all the cumbersome work of taking one big image with many different layers and cutting them into individual frames for the animation. (That is: one image -> one animated GIF per layer)
My script actually just uses the built in GIF exporter.

My initial approach was something like copying the layers out individually, cutting the parts out and stacking them, adding background to each and then finally exporting them as GIFs.
Per layer this is time stacking up quickly, so an all-in-one script is a big process improvement Smiley

Thanks for the suggestion.

Working on a hard mode, where all enemies get new attacks and patterns (instead of all the recent stupid hard modes that just increase enemy damage and HP). Currently doing the bosses.

Man, you're really going hard on that game! Keep it up!

I've been doing some randomly generated 3D game. I need to remake the generation algorithm, because it's kind of doing a 'room-based growth' thing rather than a street-based system.

These tiles:

For this:

Really not happy with them, though. Contrast is all over the place and the style isn't quite matching the rest of the game. Fun times ahead!

I considered posting this in Devlogs, but since the devlog is on Tumblr and not actually here, it seemed stupid to do that, so I'll just post it here instead.

http://pigflip.tumblr.com

I'm developing a game called Pig Flip and doing a devlog on it at the above link, if anybody is interested in following along. It's a 2D flash game, I am doing all the art and programming.

I post all kinds of stuff, like this:

And this:

And this:

Having lots of fun making it so far.

I hope the ice is more noticable in game, I didn't understand why the pig slid on that last bit at first.
