From the apology: I contribute time every day to "my peeps" giving advice and counselI still love this mental image. Kind of an attorney-equivalent to the stereotypical young girl's "tea party" where she invites all of her plush animals to attend.

and he was never abusive to me personally. He should probably apologize in person to the people he was a dick to, but that's not really any of my bee's wax.
Tom called me a fucker in real life. Not gonna lie, i kinda deserved it, but it was one of the greatest moments of my life. Wow. How did you get him to do that?

PAX. he was around the indie section. I took my camera up to him and said "Hey would you mind dancing on camera for me" He goes "Sure, you don't know who I am do you?" Me: "Nope" *films* Tom: "So, how many people have you filmed dancing?" Me: "Just you" Tom: "Oh you fucker"

Tyler, your next game needs to be "Get Tom Buscaglia To Dance For You" and after completing a simple dialogue tree with a pixelated Tom, show that animation as the reward.

I do not think that indie developers need Tom Buscaglia as much as he thinks they do. And you don't know the half of it. I had the privilege of being showed some of the e-mails he sent to Mobigame when David Papazian was crying for help to the IGDA and they assigned Tom Buscaglia to the case or whatever... Yeah the least you could say is that indies "don't need" him.

I like how they're now able to write back to Apple with all these counter-points. It seems the spreading of the Tim Langdell story is finally getting the better of him. He can no longer threaten an unsuspecting developer as the cat's out of the bag now.

Allow me to doubt Apple's non-dickyness in that case. I'm pretty sure there's still a high risk of them simply tossing any kind of responsibility on their part. They played a big role in the removal of Edge, and I'm also thinking of Indestructotank and SteoneLoops!...
I still it would be interesting to make that experiment of putting a bogus game on sale on the Appstore and then create a fake complaint of copyright infringement by a bullshit company, and see what happens.

Oh, definitely, Apple's politics are still very much a problem. I just like that developers can now actually counter-point Langdell's claims instead of having to pull down their game in fear.

Apple will avoid legal action like the plague. They're like that guy that's deathly afraid of germs and have to keep everything organized exactly in the way he wants until it cripples his very mind.

That he would go to craiglist instead of focusing on game development communities says a lot.
Or does craiglist have a large game development community that I don't know of?

Well he did try the game developer's group on LinkedIn, as you'll recall. After that blew up in his face this isn't surprising.
