and yeah, Baltimore City is fast become one of my favorite real world cities. it's obviously an old industrial town that say it's heydays about a hundred years ago. the city has real character. real nice texture to it. it feels more real than Montréal to me. even with all the surreal bullshit going on in there. i love industrial decays, and so I'm coming to Baltimore before July 6th, or after August 6th.

See, I found the city itself rather boring. Everything looks too similar to me, I prefer GTA IV and Assassin's Creed for hopping around an open world myself (if Assassin's Creed would get rid of the freaking talk intros you have to sit through).

Yahtzee has gotten boring, if you can see past the fast talking for the lack of substance, you notice that he is being disagreeable for the sake of being disagreeable, why? Because his fans like him talking fast, all angry and snarky. He plays to his fans well, and people do agree with him, which is the unfortunate part, because it seems like some games he plays for 10 minutes and extrapolates the rest of the game from that. He can because he isn't payed to critique or review games, but rather, to be angry on the internet.

While he did mention sometimes not finishing the games he plays, I don't think he just plays games for 10 minutes and extrapolates from there. At least I don't get that feeling.

He has become a bit less funny as of late, yes. It's been a while since I laughed to tears from his reviews.

But it's like you said. He isn't paid to be a good reviewer, he's paid to give a spectacle. He might be slipping lately, but I don't think he was ever about doing proper reviews.

He hasn't hit rock bottom yet though, and I have hopes he'll fart out some jewels still (like the XBlades/Halo Wars one he did with the other escapist dude).

Also, I'm totally making his description of Duke Nukem Forever as a game someday. Maybe for B-Games.
