Awesome, the scrolling feels real good with the tilting going on. Also love the helmet concept:lose the helmet early on - do you just run for the exit or risk clearing out the remaining enemy for more pts.
Also the enemy speed seems really spot on.

Really awesome game!  The tilting was great, the enemy swarms were awesome and the music worked excellently with the action.

Music is rad, first and foremost. Game makes me motionsick, but it's a good motionsick. Adds to the freneticism*. Uh, yeah, fun. Blasting aliens is good.

Gripe: Same-Level Teleporters seem to kill me EVERY time, no questions asked. There's always some little alien bastard standing next to the exit. Some reaction time would be nice. As would a running score. Unless "kills" are a running score. In which, hooooooooly crap, guys are good.

And maybe have to hit "enter" once you die to type high score name?

But yeah, love how the little bastards charge you when in line of sight. This is why I like your games - simple, sloppy and effective.

 Beer!

OH: Maybe grenades could explode the walls? I know most Procedural games go the destuctible terrain route, but it's still a pretty cool mechanic. I think.

*Not a real word, maybe? Who cares?

funny game.  Smiley
a brave astronaut equipped with his faithful gun and only supported by his trusty helmet of glorious protection.

suggestions:
give the enemies some sort of a sign which proves that they are dead... i think some pixel blood would do a good job here Wink

maybe consider to include some sort of powerups like speed up, invincibility (mega helmet), spread shot etc... (but im not sure if this would work with the current gameplay mechanics...)

Suggestion: This game begs for multiplayer. Add gamepad support or something, or if you feel really ambitious make it online. I think offline multiplayer would be better, though.

Hmm, I got to lvl 30 as Klaas (love him btw) but it didn't save the high score...the game froze for a bit after entering my name and that was it.
Now to try the rest of the guys.

I am on the list, but the score for that particular time was higher (around 48K, honest!). Still, it seems like an isolated occurrence. Imagine if it happened to Rolf  Apoplectic

Yeah the levels are pretty cool. Can't wait to see what lvl 40 looks like.

I think Clint's plutonium is kind of useless since it exhausts really quick, and for an already handicapped guy he deserves a bit better. That said, Xion's score using him is really impressive.

any chance to get a rumblepad 2 to work properly?  Smiley
the right analog stick isnt mapped correctly.
another good thing would be if it would be possible to shoot autimatically when you move the right stick.
(or to map the shoot button to a shoulder button...)
