Freddie Gibbs and Madlib - Piñata

Hardly a fan of Hip-Hop, but this is one of the better ones I've heard.

The Thing- India (John Coltrane cover)

ok, so the coltrane village vanguard box is pretty much my favorite live jazz recording ever, but i'd never thought i'd hear "india" played in a version that sounds like the melvins fronted by albert ayler. holy shit.

i've never seen something so meticulously designed to be terrible. it's brilliant and awful at the same time. also pretty funny. and disturbing.

Stone Roses- Fools Gold

this band was unbelieveably overhyped in every imported british music magazine i read back when i still did that. this song actually holds up v nicely tho, definitely one of the best things to come out of the late 80s indie/dance crossover.

These guys are awesome! They do a lot of covers, but they have a ton of original songs too. You should really check them out.
