They remind me of all the songs on xm indie and trance stations mixed together with some reverb, which is kinda nice tbh.

I've been listening to Closer from Joy Division. I really like Unknown Pleasures but never gave much time to Closer, I was put off by the first track and was just never bothered to go back to it. I think my favourite song on the album would be Colony probs, it's a cool song.

i wish kraftwerk would still jam like this live. ive seen them 5 times and every time it was mostly playback w/ some very minor filter tweaking and stuff (looked and sounded fantastic tho with the 3d video projections). it's weird because these days it's extremely easy to improvise in electronic music with software like ableton live and etc, probably 10000 times easier than it was in 1981. oh well...

Doing a rare /real post/ but oh man this has been stuck in my head since I got Shooting Love 200x on XBLA yesterday.
It's like Zuntata-esque techno opera mixed with some idk early 90s disco revival/new jack swing? style and pushed into this really fragile, crystally-sounding /sound region/.

also correction: it doesnt sound that much like naked city. mainly just the first couple tracks which hop genres very quickly. it "settles down" a bit after the kendrick feature. the transitions between different sections are also much smoother than what naked city did.
