I've been listening to Electric Six obsessively for about 3 weeks now. I heard Danger High Voltage about 2 years ago but forgot about these guys until recently. New album comes out the 20th, yay!
Right NOW I am listening to Evil Cowards, which is Dick Valentine's side act (along with some other guy I don't know, but I might search out later), and it's not as good as I'd hoped...but not too bad.

Good stuff, good sir! Listening to Man Man's Six Demon Bag and Modest Mouse's The Moon and Antarctica right now. Mmmmm. Meriweather Post Pavilion is an incredible album. I was listening to This is a Long Drive For Someone With Notihng to Think About by Modest Mouse earlier. Prefer it to The Moon and Antarctica though both are amazing. While You Wait for the Others by Grizzly Bear is my last listened to track. |

Yeah, the best Mouse album for me is always a perpetual battle between The Moon, Sad Sappy Sucker, and A Long Drive. I can never decide, and I doubt I ever will (or want to!)  |

While I agree that those are there 3 best albums, Long Drive will always be my personal number one. You get the rough sounds from Sad Sappy, with the arrangements from The Moon. It's the best of both worlds. And the guitar at the end of Mechanical Birds is my favorite sound coming from a guitar ever. EVER. |
