Sabbath Assembly - Judge Of Mankind

This is very nice to listen to, all of my doom and psychedelic rock and roll brothers are sure to dig this particularly if any of them are into Jex Thoth. For everyone else, you might be surprised to find yourself staying for the eight minute duration. Sure it starts off all "we pledge ourselves to Jesus Christ" but then BAM, Satan. Wiki "Process Church" if you don't know the background but that's not crucial to enjoyment because it is very nice music.

I remember reading a review of this somewhere and being interested, but it slipping off my radar for something else.

Anyway, goddamnit this shit is great! I rushed to Amazon and ordered the album without second thought.  

Also, to keep up with the general slow/trippy theme we've got going on here, Oren Ambarchi, probably known to some of you guys for his contributions to Sunn O))), makes some really nice minimal ambient-ish music with a guitar that doesn't sound like one (and occasionally some extra instruments like on this track). Fans of later Earth should dig this.

One of the FX he uses is the Lovetone Ring Stinger judging from this video. It's an awesome pedal and one I'd love to get my hands on, but whenever I see it on sale it's something like $400 upwards, a bit outside of my budget range. Lovetone is a tiny company consisting of 2 guys who hand-build their their pedals, so those prices are to be expected.
