The Settlers, Prince of Persia, Super Mario Land 2, Link's Awakening.
Those  were like my first games and I guess they are the most nostalgic to me.

New Zealand Story seems to get the biggest nostalgic reaction from me but I'm not really sure why, it wasn't the first game I played or even one I played very often.

Atari Adventure, because that was the first time I played a game that really felt like a big epic adventure that didn't involve typing GET YE FLASK all the damn time.

any of the games i made in ~1994/1995, i guess

if you mean games made by others, ms. pac man (arcade version), was the first game i played when i was 4 years old and it had just come out -- also probably the first game i ever saw too

Super Mario World - first game I ever actually beat.

Final Fantasy I - first RPG I ever played

Street Fighter II - I remember going to the concession stand at the drive-in solely to crowd around the SFII cabinet with a bunch of other kids who ditched out on the movie too :D (also the first game I remember playing at the arcade)

The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time - first time I ever experienced a Zelda game (I had an NES but Zelda was always pretty expensive and my parents were poor, same goes for the SNES Zelda as well)

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - the first game I really got absorbed into, my friends and I would call turns and switch off playing this game for days on the Xbox

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, because it was the first zelda game I ever played. I get a weird feeling of deja vu whenever I play it.

I remember I was around 3 or 4 hen my mom was getting something from a food court and I saw a Street Fighter arcade game. I took one look at it and fel in love in the best way that an arcade machine in a mall can provide.

Geebus, if I list the games that make me nostalgic, I'll be here *all* day.

This is partly because, growing up, my aunt owned every game console that existed and every game for these consoles.

Let's just say my summer vacations were...exuberant.  Well, hello there!

By far Miracle Warriors. This was the first RPG I ever beat, and I beat it when I was 4, I could barely read, and my older brothers didn't believe me. So I got to the last boss, they saw green bare boobed lady, and that was that.

If I'm feeling super Nostalgic, I'll pop in one of the Zillion games.

Sesame Street ABC for the nes.

Oh, I had that game, I loved trying to fill the screen in the Ernie's bathtub game.

For me its either Wing Commander(1, 2, or privateer, with speech packs) or LOZ:LTTP. Both invoke very fond memories of my grandparents' house.

BONUS ROUND: the music for Sesame Street ABC was done by the dude who went on to do the music for Donkey Kong Country, David Wise.

Mickey's Dangerous Chase on the Gameboy. It's actually still kind of ok.

Oh, defenitly the games I played on my Snes when I was younger.
Donkey Kong Country and Lemmings probably being among the top.

... And Heroes of Might and Magic 3, even though I played it way later, always gives me that fuzzy feeling.

Sonic The Hedgehog. My entire family used to play that and it's the game that introduced me to my favorite platformer franchise. I swear while playing Sonic The Hedgehog again about a year or two ago, I almost cried from just hearing the first levels' music. The nostalgia just REALLY got to me. heh

Jazz Jack Rabbit. I've not played it since I was three but everytime I see a screenshot I feel all nostalgic.

Lord knows what would happen if I played it again.

GREAT call on Super Mario Land 2! I consider that the absolute best Mario game and my second favorite underrated game (Contra Hard Corps is first of course)
