drunken rant *
It can be hard to discover good movies, especially in places where movie theaters and television channels play mostly new or solely commercial releases. So let's post some movies that can help us expand our field of vision and provide experiences that inspire us to become better artists and game designers.
Let's try to stick to these rules as a general guideline.
- Nothing from after the year 2000
- Nothing made in Hollywood
I am not implying in any way that nothing good or important was made after the year 2000 or that there is no noteworthy cinema that came out of Hollywood, but I strongly feel that these two simple rules allow us to broaden the suggestions to include films that might have otherwise escaped our radar.
P.S. Try to post a link to a trailer along with your suggestion if a good trailer is out there.
I will start with these:
