My little collaboration with my friend Ryan is finally out on the platform it was intended for - the iPhone/iPod Touch!

No real changes to the gameplay yet over the flash version, except for the touch interface, obviously, and the portability. I'll probably implement a global high score system for the next version.

If anyone wants to give it a try, I'd be grateful for any comments/criticisms/bug reports!

Here is the link.

Oh fuck.  I love that game.

For all the wrong reasons: I love to watch the little guys drift helplessly into space.

Same here in the US.  Maybe they didn't index it yet or something.

I wanna asphyxiate some spacemen!

Ah, well I guess it can't take long if it's already on the PC store. This only happened about 45 minutes ago so I guess I shouldn't be surprised :-/

/edit I can see it on the US store now from my phone if I use the above link, but it's not yet in the search index.

 Kiss You are customer #1!

I'd crack out the caviar, but I know your iPhone game will cost more so I'm still running a loss!

This is awesome! To my shame I never played the flash original, but it works nicely. I skipped past the instructions but was still able to figure out the controls. Smiley Congratulations!!

Aww, it's not as addictive as Diabolika by a long shot, but it IS the only c64 themed game on the app store!

Heh, but there's an ending in the flash version moi, you just have to clear enough levels!

Any chance you will have an update that saves the current game state when you quit and reloads it when you restart?  I find this very important in iPhone games.

Otherwise it's great, and a perfect game for the platform.  Also nothing is funnier than thinking you just set up the level to get it perfect and then watching like 12 guys spill out into the cold darkness of space.

Excellent! These are the kind of games I want on my iPhone. Hope to find it in the German iTunes shop.

Bennett, you should put the amazing title screen as one of the screenshots.  Also, your website links on the iTunes page are broken?

Works great on the iPhone, though!

Really? I'm kind of embarrassed of it! Ok, I'll put it up. (In the 80s, they would have had a full-colour painting which the title screen had been adapted from)

I agree. I haven't looked into it at all, but I'll make it a priority.
