minecraft is sort of out -- i mean, it's not done done, and it's constantly updated, but if i included games which were released but not finished i'd be including dwarf fortress etc. etc. too

could you link to snapshot and verge? i haven't heard of those and google searching can't find much since they're common words
Verge http://www.kylepulver.com/view.php?id=45Snapshot http://www.snapshotgame.com/for Verge there's the tig commonplace book contest entry, but Xerus said it will turn into a full game, maybe check him before entering it

Voted for all the tactics/strategy games... Eh. (well, not everybody likes sidescrollers) Either way, some bigger titles: http://www.interstellarmarines.com/http://achrongame.com/I'm pretty sure there are other nice indie games in production not on your list, but I can't think of any right now. PS: almost was going to propose wakfu ( http://www.wakfu.com/en) but such a big team is working on that game that it isn't really "indie" anymore. Also DA (I feel bad for keep bringing that game up). edit as it seemed pointless to make another post: dofus arena still states open beta (as does wakfu).

I chose Runman, BDTU, and Fez, though I'm also really looking forward to Skullboy, the next Mondo game, and that Metroid 2 remake.

will add all those soon (after breakfast) -- what's DA? dofus arena? if so it's kind of released (even if not finished)

I really don't see how Interstellar Marines is an indie game, even if they states that is. Ok they're self funded, but even Valve is self funded

Man, seeing all these games to look forward to... how can I pick just 3?!? The future looks very very bright indeed.

It was tough to pick between Super Meat Boy and Hitlers Must Die, but I decided on the latter. Other than that, I picked Night Game and Brain-Damaged Toon Underworld (which looks phenomenal, if it ever comes out). If I'd had more votes I would've gone for Runman, Dyson, and The Underside.
Shit, this is really an awesome year for indie games.
Also, Cave Story Wii should probably be up there.
Also also - Pixel has an RPG in the works? When did that happen? Are there any details?
