Thanks for the comment. Actually, I thought reducing the background's contrast would help the "important" elements pop more, but I'll definitely give it a try anyway You'll do great. What platform you aiming for? Hope you make it cross-platform...
I'm currently using Flixel. It's relatively easy for a rusty dev haha Yeah, just try it! Keep in mind backgrounds are more important than you think, though. Making a "believable" scene in a game can make a huge difference in the experience, and making the background elements contrast a little more might contribute to that. also: Flixel

This is actually my first attempt at pixel art (and my first post on TIGForums!). I really like how it came out so I'm planning to make a little game out of it, probably a little metroidvania Any comments on how I could improve some elements are welcomed! wow I love the style on that! great for a first attempt I'd say, make it a game!

Kinda same thing as yesterday with a character. Man, I'm digging that! Really nice colour scheme. So do you have any weaknesses at all??? Or are you just good at everything?

Hi Fil and thank you! Well, this lo-fi shoot project is quite "sleeping" (... like Partisan-Tactics Battle^^) : no time to code anything, and draw graphics is x100 easier/funnier than code engine/path-finding... Edit: holy ****! I just see your new project with Adarias ("the isometric game with rodents"): looks awesome! Best news of the week

How could this get no love? I like it, some brilliantly placed pixels used to produce curves. The ground looks great too!
