heres is my latest. its super fun working with pixels, but lighting is hard... zOMG this is awesome! _really_ like the hunched over characteristic of the protagonist. it would be super sweet if the red glow from his visor spilled onto the environment perhaps when examining something or interacting with a door/switch. can already hear the dank ambient sounds of chemical spill drips and alien mutatnt rat scuttling in the shadows.

DanFessler, thanks for the tips, I´ll definitely try out if I can get rid of the down scaling. + those samples you posted look mighty fine Geti, for the "final" look I need to do few variations for the wall set. That should fix the too uniform look. Actually, I´ll probably do the variations today, as I try to streamline my workflow.

Rykuth these screenies are lovely. The yellow standup-duck enemies are great as are the lilac ones with teeth that point upwards. What is the protagonist wearing on his head? Whats the gameplay concept? Is the dotted line bullets or a hookshot? sean

A mockup of some sort of post-apocalyptic survival game. Where you're supposed to fight for your life while being constantly pursued by the endless army of killer robots.

Thanks! It's a baseball cap that the player character has on, but I'm thinking of changing him to something more like this: The game is a kind-of a metroidvania with a mouse-aimed gun. The gun is customizable and upgradable, which is why it's different in each screen.

I wasted way too much time on this. The idea is a roguelike where you play an employee who must quest into the depths of an old warehouse to retrieve an Amulet of Yendor tm for a customer. As you go deeper, venturing into completely abandoned areas, strange new lifeforms pop up, and whole new ecosystems start emerging in the overgrown lower floors. I'd like to get some quirky charm in there- in the items, creatures, and environments.

Reminds me of Sweet Home the game. Very nice. I'd say you need more color variation.

Looks great! I think some speculars would do wonders for the light shining on the walls.
