Hm, I hope the tiny spacemen don't seem redundant in a game where you fly space rockets.
I thought it was a better idea than showing the rockets or just a colored frame.

Visual charm doubled right there. If i had anything to say around here, I'd demand every vehicle-based game should have a little pilot cam somewhere for feedback!

They're great and should be as lively as possible in the game, is what I'm saying. Smiley

Wow, thanks!
I'm a bit worried that they're gonna be distracting.
But screw it, it will be fun to animate them doing various facial expressions that tie in with the gameplay :D

Also, I've noticed that they do wonders for the online lobby, with the added human element it makes players feel less anonymous Smiley

Yeahhhhh!
So you got online, huh. Well, if you're feeling REALLY generous, how about implementing like 4 different emotes for each player to show in-game? Like one "awww", one "yeah", one "screw you!" and all that jazz. Map to keyboard, profit!

I can only see that benefitting the online game, personally...

A cyborg simulator. You are a cyborg in the year twenty thirteen doing cyborg-type business. As a cyborg you have a surgical steel skeleton, super computer brain, satnav, bionic hearing, dermal implanted weaponry and bionically enhanced vision. Bionic eyes exist today but the resolution is painfully low. Ten years from now technological breakthroughs should increase this to the level showcased here but since this game is supposed to be futuristic game you get to use the technology now.

From last time, I've added a menu, a pond with plants (Seaweed and lily pad) and a fish, cattails, a windmill, grass layers are more distinguishable between each other, and trees have separate layers as well, to give variety.

This looks great! Very unique style! Do you have any art for the character you play as or any enemies yet?

Thanks!  I don't have anything aside from the title screen at the moment.  I'll probably start on in-game mockups soon though.
