Why's it dead? Currently looks like 2 days tops of focussed coding from any sane framework. Loving the power sources and the little greenhouse Smiley

It has a lot of design problems that I haven't been able to solve to my satisfaction. It also feels like a weak concept since there are so many Minecraft/Terraria type games around these days.

Still looks awesome, keep the graphics, change the game, Halo type of thing Tongue
No good in wasting such a good environment, why not try a side-scroller RPG?

I can confirm that this "Zack" character plays Hackysack too much (I can also confirm that he should try this "Flag Football" previously mentioned).

Probably it'd be better to just have the leaves cover the branches, even if that renders them nearly invisible. Right now it looks like the skeleton of a tree is being exposed =P

^ That's pretty cool.

However, I think the characters are a bit "unfortunately" proportioned. Like, they're not cute and compact, but they don't really pack on extra details. You might also want to emphasize certain proportions to help make shapes and poses easier to read (like, where's the chin of the scarf people). For example, you might want to try dropping the eyes, making the hair more prominent, and making the proportions more realistic. The robot guy doesn't look menacing enough, both because of his pose and proportions. I think more emphasis on his gun and dome might be a good idea. Just some thoughts.

Keep going with it, though - it looks like it could be fun.

@Artifice - Cool blocks. Nice spritework!

Hooooly shit. A lot of the stuff in here is brilliant and would make a brilliant game, but rarely does something merit a real, pleading "PLEASE say this is going to be a game" comment.
catghost, you the man.
