Does this evoke interest to anyone?  Sounds cool and I'd love to see more Mode7-ish games. Have you tried displaying the character as a billboard sprite (always facing the camera)? |

Thanks And yes, I guess that's a thing I'd have to do but as of now the mockup is only an extension of the game I have in my head. I wanted to see if the artstyle would fit the idea in my head :D @aamatniekss: he's an NPC guard doing his job... that green guy leaning at the wall isn't a true hero either but he'll be the playable character |

I just upscaled, offset the red channel to the right and blue to the left and then scaled down
Thanks for noticing too. I thought it was maybe too subtle
