I like the undulated version, except in the places where it shows a white floor tile above; there it looks like the black part of the wall just fell a bit down and shows a white part of the wall.

Regarding floor tiles, I feel like the contrast between dark and light tiles is much too high. It adds a lot of noise to the scene.

Loving this simple, chalk-y aesthetic!

Thank you guys. Undulated it is! I'm experimenting will different palettes to reduce the contrast.

RedCasket - really fun character designs!

Here's a new character I've been working on this week, keeping the clean, crisp look from the last model I posted (the astronaut above) but a totally different character/setting and more personality.

Thanks! I've got two different game designs that I'm bouncing between at the moment, one a tactical turn-based strategy with a bunch of these Dwarf guys, the other a roguelike with a handful of character classes to choose between. (This one is a basic warrior.) Either one could use this guy and more like him and a bunch of hex-grid tiles on the ground so I'm just testing out the visuals first. I'm also still lacking a coder so if/when I collaborate with one, their preferences could swing the game design in either direction.

I hope it's gonna be the turn-based tactical strategy :D

I'm in love with your art style! This looks like it'd go hand in hand with some procedural cave generation, looks like it'd be a great little "2D Tomb Raider" sort of game to me.

Thanks! Oh, I doubt it will go anywhere further than this little prototype/mockup thing. Just needed a little break from everything else, but yeah, my idea is also that it would be something procedural if I made it further. Smiley

I love dinosaurs, but have never been able to really entertain my dinosaur fancy in a truly romantic way. I'll have to get into Dino Dearest. For those who have not seen the video for DD, this dreamy dino is a smooth saxophone player so watch out for this one! Wink

Game in development, final touches left ( thus more than a Mockup ). Another remake of "Deflektor" ( C64/Amiga/ZX ).

The image is a screencap from running on the AFTV.

BTW: Anyone know someone (or own by them self) an Amazon FireTV who can help out in alpha/beta-testing? Please let me know by a PM and we can work out some "deal/contra favour"   Tongue
