Hey ya'll! Thanks a lot for the compliments!
What did you use to make that +Peter? I would love to make something with those graphics...
Good ole' Blender and a little bit of thinkin'

A guess~
It will be like Advance Wars.
You know, I'd be a bloody liar if I said that wasn't in part the inspiration. Advance wars is amazingly accessible and deceptively simple. I could learn a lot from it! That said, there are a couple design decisions we've made that drastically change how this game is played compared to many other tactics style games. I wanna let you guys get your dirty hands all over it soon!
The trees seem to stand out a bit too much on this. I think it's because they are one colour rather than two (one for the bark, one for the leaves).
Regardless, it looks great!

That's a great crit, thanks! I'll tell you my thoughts, most of the objects in the scene are solid colors, lotsa purple and white (except for the units themselves, which have a lot of detail). I figured too much detail in a minor element would be distracting from the focus. I just wanted to make the image a bit more visually interesting with some splashes of color. That said, I certainly should test out your advice and see how it fits ... thanks!
I want to take that aesthetic behind the gym and get it teen pregnant. That's how awesome it is.

Why does it have to be dirty? What if my aesthetic was already willing, and of legal age?
Oh, here is a giant wallpaper that highlights all of the rendering problems in vivid, hi-res detail.
