When resizing use the nearest-neighbor or nearest-pixel method. Not bilinear, not bicubic, not lanczos.

the level is a screenshot from a game i'm making, but the enemies are just ideas for now. plattformer ai seems like such a impossible task to implement... puhh..
Looks A+. You can have simple stuff like goomba walk left till bump wall walk right, or flying things easily. Otherwise you're going to need semi-smart A* stuff to get around things and jump at appropriate times. Again, I really like that so I hope it gets made.

Anyone up for coding a battlefield-something demake? Looks like fun! I imagine it as a a simple run-n-gun, with shooting a'la Majyuuoo. Player can jump 2 blocks high, but can ask for a boost from teammates for higher cliffs like that one on the right.

Well, thanks! I was thinking about an 'aiming system'. When you enter aiming mode, your shooting is more accurate but you also move slower. Guess I'll post a thread in 'collaborations' in order to find a programmer!

Anyone up for coding a battlefield-something demake? Looks very Finnish. Which I think is kind of a good thing actually. Reminds me of a Triplane Turmoil but with soldiers.

Anyone up for coding a battlefield-something demake? I'd love to program that. Looks like a lot of fun! Unfortunately I'm working on too much at the moment and I don't wanna risk this being a project that never gets finished.

Hehe. I've played loads of Bad Company 2 so I can instantly see the resemblance. It needs a physics engine so you can collapse buildings on people.

What a wonderful first post! I love the chunky tile look, and am especially a fan of the lava. Good job, and welcome!

What a wonderful first post! I love the chunky tile look, and am especially a fan of the lava. Good job, and welcome! Agreed. My only qualm would be that the lava and lava rock are a little bit hard to distinguish, making the lava not instantly signal "OBSTACLE" in the player's head (if this was an actually). That would probably be fixed with animation, and it's nitpicky anyway. Better than anything I have done in a long time. WELCOME ABOARD!

Thanks for our welcome and criticism the game was meant to be in GBA colors before i made some changes. Oh and lava animation must be something really hard to do Edit : i forgot to mention that the palette on colored mockup is based on Arne and Robotacon palette work !

Looks wonderful, Dks! But I really can't stand white outlines on objects in games like these; it really disconnects them from the rest of the in-game world Might just be me, though I've just made tiny amounts of new assets; not really enough to warrant a new post, but I really feel like getting some stuff out, just because I have way too many school assignments piling up on me, and feel like getting some stress-relief this way^^, Anyway, here goes:
