Robotwo: The characters outlines are impossible to read on the grass (at least on this monitor). The tiles themselves seem nice enough all though the rocks have this weird looking dithering/stray pixel effect on the outlines.

@Seasons: Those are some sexy colours! It looks like you have some sprite rotation which I've never found attractive but short of that, cool mock. Any plans to finish it or . . . ?

@Kramlack-This was just a quick sketch to get an idea of the colors and style I wanted to use for mine and Shelby's 7dfps game. To save time I just copy/pasted/rotated the enemy sprites.

Yeah the tiles are scattered randomly to break up the grid a bit, they didn't line up as well as expected though.

Didn't want to bring more colors into the palette only for the outline,
so I reused the darker shade from the body, helps separate it a bit, but not enough I guess   Who, Me?

I would've used less saturated colors for the BG if the SMS palette had any good ones, sadly I couldn't find a way to work with the few ones it provided.

Hopefully that wouldn't hinder the gameplay too much as the character is of significant size and one of the few possibly moving things on the screen.
