Xposting from my devlog. Working on the background for arena mode.   I think this is pretty complete. I'm not sure if I should do the stripes on the left or the stripes on the right. I like the punch on the right, but it might be too busy. I'm looking for overhead shoot'em ups for art and level design references. I will probably be playing some Shock Troopers and Mercs/Commandos soon, but what else is there? Smash TV and Total Carnage will help, too. I feel like I should be watching American Gladiators and Running Man, too... |
