Unfortunately, I don't really have the time at the moment to do it justice. I've sorta been poking away at the keyboard across a huge stack of papers. I've been long enough at it anyways that whoever's next might as well go.

Yeah, Stonesense doesn't have absolutely everything yet. Still, Cheater was able to recognize the well, so that's cool.

I think at this point we'll get whatever ZeuglinRush has done and make that the next save, then get the next person up to bat.

Since we haven't heard from Mr. Zeuglin for about 2 weeks, maybe load up the save prior to him to keep things moving along? A thread like this needs updates to stay alive and interesting.

I'm not usually so pushy, but I really want to take Stonesense for a whirl, and this sounds like a good chance. :D

EDIT: If this fortress dies horribly, we need a new thread. :3

I have a really bad feeling about this... I've been watching this fortress for 1 minute, and this happens already?



Ingiz has gone mad, and is running through the fortress on a killing spree. Everyone is sick, thirsty, hungry, or wounded, so they are basically lying in bed waiting for the woodworker to bust in through the doors to get them. ;o

I designated a new dumping zone for bodies and refuse, and a new 20-slot tomb to store some of the bodies, but nobody wanted to do any work! They just lie around and wait to go crazy/berserk/die.

Ingiz's rampage eventually came to a halt, 3 days later.



We're down to 11 now... it's not looking good.

(also, sorry for not taking more general pictures of what's going on; it was all pretty confusing scene of miasma, blood, and refuse, so I just kept with logfiles.)

Mere days have gone by since the big outbreak of Ingiz... and NOW THIS?!



Now we have an ex-champion running through the halls. Just great.

I guess I didn't take a picture of these events... but it looks like we're down to 6 dwarves. They're all mortally ill and lying on their beds just waiting to die. WE NEED MORE BUCKETS!

Deler Ibdesmar was the last remaining adult dwarf to die. All that remains is one little child...

Whoa... that's a lot of blood. 




And finally... it was only a matter of time... Tekkud let herself fall asleep, and hunger overcame the poor dwarven girl. With that, Helmauthors had lost it's final resident.

So, it only took about a month ingame to lose 22 dwarves. Everyone was sick, hungry, wounded, crazy, or thirsty, and nobody wanted to do anything. I really doubt this save is recoverable, but if anyone else wants to try, be my guest!

I'd be down for a remake; I'd love to put in a full year on a fort that isn't doomed from the getgo. I swear I'll spend more time taking better pictures, too. :D
