Damn, is drawing things from true top down perspective hard. Or rather - coming up with ideas of such things.

Perhaps he meant a 45 degree angle? I don't really care as long as it's consistent across all sprites.

Well, I think top down has the most versatility in terms of games that can be made with them, but feel free to fake a bit of perspective to them. Just know that it will look weird if the programmer decides to have sprites rotate in the game.

Mark me down for some music! Would each game need just one track?

Alright, looks like need more artists. If there aren't enough artists by the time we're ready to go, then I'll probably just give someone's art packet to two designers. I'll probably also join in myself as an artist (although I don't have that much art skill, it will at least fill a slot).
Of course more programmers are still welcome to join as well.
Also, I'm not sure how I'm going to handle music as there are so much fewer musicians than programmers. Again I'll probably just give out the same track to multiple people. If any musicians want to donate multiple tracks, that would be helpful, but it's not a necessity.
I figure we'll have a week or two after the Adult/Edu compo is done to make all the assets and games, then once everyone's ready, well do the asset exchange.

I'll sign on as a musician if we need an extra, but I'm already doing programming. Seems kinda strange to be doing two things.

I'm almost done with one song. I wouldn't mind doing two.

Maybe this was mentioned earlier, but what's going on with terrain textures/tiles/some kind of background for these games to take place on?

Oh, right...
Artists, make a background too! It doesn't have to be much, just something to replace a default solid background color. Size shouldn't matter too much as programmers should hopefully the able to tile it or resize it to fit whatever window size they're using.
Oh, and in case any artists don't notice this, programmers, be prepared to draw some white dots on a black background and call it outer space if you don't end up getting a background.
