I guess this is not a tutorial yet. But the guy who does the amazing JonTron work is making a multilingual (Eng, Fr, Sp) tutorial series that will be free when its finished.

I second this, definitely quality. I've already backed it.  Hand Thumbs Up Left

Also, I've written some things. The second link isn't specific to pixel art, but it still applies. Perhaps not "tutorials" in the traditional sense of the word, but I like to think they could be helpful to someone. :X

Not really a step by step tutorial, but this is a method I do for learning about body movement for animation. It features pixels being animated, so that might be enjoyable.

Ah, thanks, man! I love to do animations, too, but it can be kinda hard sometimes to think of an idea and follow through on it.

This is a pixel art study that is super interesting. Breaking down design choices based on the head!

Much more at the link below!

^ That is a very cool study that's really interesting. I've uploaded

to my video series - this one's about basic anti-aliasing.

Ah, I've forgotten all about this thread. I uploaded more parts to my tutorial series; here's the latest one on paying attention to detail.

Wow, Solar Lune, you're tutorials are great. For once I feel as though I'm beginning to understand a pixel art.

Just made this first episode (in four parts) of something I consider making a series.
It's on techniques I have discovered on my own, and some will probably say it doesn't count as "real" pixelart, but I still hope it can be of use to someone.

Part 2:

Here's what we're making in this first tutorial:

Here are some examples on graphics I make:

Appreciate all the great tutorial links, but is there any way to clean up the links on the first couple of pages? The OP is pretty old and pretty much every link on the first page is dead, I don't think I hit a working link until the 3rd page of this discussion.

I don't mean to make my first post a complaint, just figure since this discussion is stickied it would be good to remove the dead links and make it easier to get to the good ones Smiley
