I like the remix they made of it--the music sounds much much better in that trailer.

Not sure about some of the soft alpha-ey stuff in the foreground (like on the screen with the tents), but mostly yum!

I think the new graphics looks pretty nice, but they're a little washed out in places. The mausoleum should be redder, for instance. But outside the ruins looks really beautiful. I wish it was a little more SNES-looking, with some visible pixels remaining, but for the most part, it looks great. That remix was bad-ass, I might add.
In reference to my earlier music problem, I finally did the long-overdue "downgrade" from Vista to XP this weekend, so I'm hopping around the Temple of Ruins smashing stuff with my chain whip and katana and enjoying every second of chiptune bliss.

My sole gripe is the noobie-looking "dark black outline around desaturated, high color fill" on the main player. Very much at odds with the rest of the content! Otherwise, really jazzed about this.

Would you happen to know where I could find this remix? I went looking for it earlier today, but the links I found were dead.

Are these remixes going to be the music for La-Mulana Wii, or is it just a remix project like the cave story one?

Reading this made me want to replay the game, so I loaded it up, and *gasp* the chip tune music isn't working! (...)
In the options menu (F5) you can select an alternate music mode. That did it for me.

well, looking at the trailer and screenshots I'm hoping those aren't really missing enemies but just something for trailer purposes or being wip or something. Because missing enemies would suggest butchered difficulty.
