Done. BTW shouldn't this announcement get some kinda frontpage post seeing as La Mulana is, like, a "major" indie game and shit?

Personally, I'd wait until it is released so you can funnel folks directly to the demo / game.
Gonna buy this on release. I was ready for this two years ago.

It'd be nice if this eventually makes it to the eShop instead, apparently VVVVVV did well there. And Sree Dee, of course.

I'd be down for whatever system this makes it on to.
Also: It's awesome how courteous and constructive everyone is in the comments of Nigoro's blog posts. Totally awesome.

This blows. But I'd rather play the game on PC, anyway... and I'm glad NIGORO has full control over that release.
I'll do a post about it soonish.

La-Mulana being released on July 13: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1yP_be9IyIIt'll be released on Playism, a Japanese site that's soon launching an English version. No mention of a Steam release, but Playism has confirmed on their Twitter that it'll be DRM-free, for anyone concerned about that.

Looking forward to finally playing this. The trailer's English was pretty terrible, which makes me wish he consulted some people for QA/translations on it.

I AM SO HYPED I feel bad that it probably won't sell well, after all they've gone through to get it released in the west. The original's such a fantastic game, but it's definitely not for everyone. Even if it's bad, it'll still fit with the atmosphere (most of what you read is decoded ancient glyphs).
