For your listening pleasure, a sample of music we've done for our game. Most of it's been on the blog, if you've been keeping up with it, but most of the songs have been revamped a bit. So, even if you downloaded the songs from our blog, it's worth it to download them again here to get a slightly better version. I've never seen Nintendo shut down a free fan game.
I have, but then again that was in the same dream I was flying a dirigible in space and later swam with mini-pikachus. Very nice so far, I dig the music. I've always had a soft-spot in my heart for pokemans.

Also, another sample on the music side of things. Lavender TownLastly, we're down to one programmer now, and he's decided to switch from Game Maker to C++, so if you'd like to throw in your application and join our team, we'll gladly accept. If you're not a programmer but you still want to join, go right ahead. More help is always welcome in all departments.

Forget HeartGold and SoulSilver, this is the future of Pokemon. Glad to see this project is still alive and well.

Impressive! Pokemon is also becoming fast the most remade game since mario in term of art, also catching his big bros. in term of sales for entire series.

Awesome. I like the Fox shirt a lot. Like others I read the title and thought this would most likely go nowere... and then my next reaction was that you should focus on original IP. But after reading more and seeing pictures, I'm pretty much dying to play this myself. And I can see why you are wanting to make this a fangame. Ah, if only doing that wasn't such a disheartening thing. Good luck with it! It would be great to see it finished :D (In my opinion, pokemon needs more good doujin games... )

will each weapon and armor be able to get attacks themselves, like as separate abilities? so like that gyrados spear allowing whoever uses it to gain the ability to use fire blast?(i say fire blast because my red gyrados has it(i named him baron because i could(i give them all dumb names))

As you battle foes with your Pokequipment, it will gain experience and levels as in the normal games. As they gain levels, they'll gain new attacks just like they would in the normal games, and then your party members will be able to use those attacks in battle. Some attacks won't always be usable by every type of equipment (For example, a Steelix greatsword wouldn't be able to use Iron Defense). Our equivalent of TMs will be in the game as well. HM's have been replaced in favor of special items that allow you to do what you'd normally do in game (i.e., cut down trees, surf across water, etc.). Said items will be able to teach their respective moves to your Pokequipment too if you're so inclined.

This sounds interesting, but a bit less interesting since the Pokemon IP is just kind of tossed in there for no reason.
But it's your guys game, run with it.

Eh, not really. Each character will have certain weapon types that they'll perform better with, but you can essentially (and with the right equips) teach any character anything and have them equip whatever you'd like them to equip. This sounds interesting, but a bit less interesting since the Pokemon IP is just kind of tossed in there for no reason.
But it's your guys game, run with it.
On the contrary, Pokemon has been part of the entire concept since day 1. It's a major part of pretty much every aspect of the game. We have gotten similar comments before, that we could really take this places if it weren't Pokemon, but it's been a Pokemon game since its conception, and we'd like to keep it that way. Not to mention that some of the staff would likely leave if we started changing everything about the game over a year and a half since we started it.
