I'm developing a new online strategy browsergame that is similar to the village builder, war games like the Travian, Tribal Wars, Grepolis, Ikariam, etc... (but with somewhat different gameplay)
I have chosen the name Stratadi for it, because it's unique enough (so it won't conflict if you google for it). And it stands for: Strategy, Tactics and Diplomacy. (moreover the abbreviation will be correct in most languages.)
The aim in the game design was eliminate the unnecessary grind (like checking all your zillion villages, to see one of them is under attack, building or unit training finished, internal trading, etc, etc...)

I'm having the darndest time thinking of a name for my game that's unique, but straight to the point. At the moment, it's named Time Heroes, but the game no longer has anything to do with time travel. xD
Basically, a former hero has betrayed his world to carry out a sinister plan. Hope is fading, and the real heroes, who are remnants of an elite group of space rangers, must blast across the stars on a wild adventure to prove to the galaxy that their home is worth saving.
The name of the heroes' group is called the Spectrum Chasers, and I would give the game that name, but it seems a little vague about it being a sci-fi cartoon. Star Chasers is taken. Celestium Chasers is a possibility, but I'd like to go with fewer syllables if possible. Might I ask for some advice? ^_^

I think "Zero-G Heroes" has a nice ring to it. Or, "Space/Cosmo Chasers". Or "Spectra"?

I gotta new game named "Omnicron", its a hardcore overhead shooter with a twist, I originally wanted a cheesy-ier action move kind of title. It was called "Magnum Force", but then I realized that Dirty Harry already had it. I tried "Omega Striker" but transformers took that. So I went with Omnicron, which is basically just Unicron from transformers, I just swapped out the "Uni" for "Omni" I looked it up on Wikipedia, and it is a galaxy somewhere or something, so I figured that was perfect since the game take place in space. Let me know how ya like it! Omnicron link: http://bit.ly/q0R8fR-Johnny B.

I'm planning on releasing a demo for my game, "Minion's Quest", soon, but I realized that the name was taken by a small flash animation in the interim time between starting the game and now. Though saddening, it was a pretty cliche name anyway, so it's no surprise, really. I will probably have to change it now so people aren't mis-directed. However, I don't want to remove the "Minion" since it's a pretty singular word, and changing it just wouldn't be the same.
(FYI: The game is about an evil monster servant from a fantasy RPG, who rebels against the Evil Lord.)
There are 2 options I'm thinking of:
A) Shorten it to "Minion: A MonstRPG".
B) Rename it something similar, like "Minion's Story".
So, which one, and if B, what name? I like A) if you go for B) there are a load to choose from: 1. minion's, flunky's, lackey's, henchman's, hireling's. 2. adventure, crusade, journey, mission, voyage. god bless thesauri

I thought of all of those, but forget it, I just went with "Minion's Story". I don't like the sound of "revolution" or "rebels" because it's only a single character. I also didn't want to shorten it to "Minion" because it would be too hard to find. Thanks anyway. That and BattleBum are both awesome names. Good job, dude.
Yayifications!

Though this isn't exactly the original purpose of the topic I guess, I'll ask some name ideas for my new game so that I can finally post some devlogs up The game is light RPG where little girl from assassin/fighter family sets on journey to her grandma's cottage collecting on the way things for potion for the grandma who is sick/weak. She encounters many weird monsters on the way and fights against them with deck of different weapon, shield etc. cards. Style is comical, little like Mother series. I haven't invented good name. It can be about cards, story, girl etc. Some candidates are "Drugs for Grandma", "Medicate the Mom" and "Vital cards" but I don't think them as very good names except maybe last one Screenshot

"Vaccine Venture" If it were an action movie with the same plot I'd say, "Prescription for Pain!" lol

Lost Vikings-esque game starring the three standard role-playing game archetypes, using their various abilities to solve puzzles.
I'm calling it "Fighter Mage Thief" at the moment.
