Point Taken. Maybe I analyse names a little too much. Hmms, you're right actually. "Atrocity" in other media forms often translates into FUN in video game land.

Why are you here? That name's obviously Awesome already.
Although, I'm not Benzido. Where's he gotten to?

Gods Of Earth (GOE for short)
The name isn't interesting in it's own right or discribtive of the game, so I have to say that it is a bad name.

Humdrum +1. Really fits the game's style.
Gods of Earth sounds like it's trying a little too hard to be 'deep'. If you could tell us more about the game it would be good.

Yup, I'd also like to cast in a vote with Humdrum. Great word, terribly underused.
Hmm, Gods of Earth sounds to me like a futu-RTS. Is it? A little normal, but not BAD. Just, not indicative of content.

Portal2DI wasn't happy with this, its default name, at first, but I've grown more comfortable with it as time has gone on.

Portal 2D is what people already informally call the 2D flash version, though.

Hmm, and it's the proper title of a gamemaker version. HMMM. EDIT: and an XNA version. *sigh*
