We're getting a little stuck trying to figure out a final name for our game, a bit of help would be appreciated! It's an action RPG, kind of a mix between the earlier Zelda games and Secret of Mana. The game has a very SNES-like, old school RPG feel to it with lots of charm. The whole game is very focused on grinding and finding items, both gameplay wise and story wise! We're trying to come up with a name that represent the focus of the game (being the grinding) while also mixing in a bit of that old corny RPG charm!
The top contender so far is "Secrets of Grindea" or "Legend of Grindea". Meh or yea? We're opened for all kinds of suggestions!

Just for fun:
The Trembling Bridge - A surreal 2D platformer with an ever-changing, constantly shifting game world. Try and imagine an H.P. Lovecraft story infused with subtle Christian allegories.

Hasslevania 2: This Space For Rent http://del_duio.sitesled.com/Hasslevania2/Hasslevania2.htmlThings to know- It takes place in outer space and it has a lot to do with fictional product placement. It also has NPC collecting on your spaceship and they have to pay rent in one way or the other. See, it makes sense! I've been working on this off and on for almost 4 years and I can't wait until it's finally done so I can make something ELSE

@Eldboll: I like your nickname, how about Eldboll for your game - or another nice sounding Swedish word?

@Eldboll I would say go for the style of classic SNES games, but don't put Grind in the title, even as a joke. You may get people who would enjoy it who dismiss it out of hand.
If you want to riff on the stereotypes of classic RPGs, go ahead, but come up with an unusual world name that sounds corny-fantasy (like Grindea, but otherwise). Here's 7 I just came up with: Sartorea, Hrisvelgion, Ielithia, Ercadia, Eskelion, Fentasia, Iciestdragonia, I dunno. If you really want overt parody, stick a random number on the end. But I would be more concerned with helping your game to stand out rather than to fit in... highlight the unique elements of the game in the name or something, if you can. You've got to distinguish it from others.

Time for an all-out attack! In a nutshell, my game is about being the last of your village fighting off wave after wave of baddies while teaming up with the local shopkeep to stay armored and prepared. My ideas were Last Defense and Last Stand, but I want to see what you guys can think of. "No Free Swords"? "Fire Sale"? The name I have chosen is Xenophonic. Xenos is the greek word for "different, strange", such as in Xenophobia (fear of the different). Phonic means "Of, relating to, or having the nature of sound".
I would shorten the name to make it more catchy. "Xephon". "Xenophon". I'm making an RPG where you control a party of summoners. Name-wise, I'm currently going with 'Summoner's Tale'
Boring! What do the summoners summon? Tell the audience more about what they do! The top contender so far is "Secrets of Grindea" or "Legend of Grindea". Meh or yea? We're opened for all kinds of suggestions!
Grinderion Saga! Hasslevania 2: This Space For Rent
Copyright infringement GO! You should probably rename it before the lawyers come knocking. How about "Place(d) in Space"? "Spacer Placer"?

I'm currently developing a game (pre-alpha), which is a score-based, fixed-camera, side-on action-platformer, where you simply try to kill as many waves of ninjas as you can while trying to stay alive (original right?).
I'm thinking: "Oh No, Ninjas! : A gentleman's guide to surviving a spontaneous ninja attack".

Hasslevania 2: This Space For Rent
Copyright infringement GO! You should probably rename it before the lawyers come knocking. How about "Place(d) in Space"? "Spacer Placer"? Naw, It'd be copyright infringement if it was called Castlevania: This Space For Rent or had the same exact material from the CV game(s). I think I'll be okay as far as that goes. Originally, I was nervous a bit about the first game being called Hasslevania but no lawyers came a' knockin'. It's my own characters and story in a world set far apart from Konami's franchise.

I need help with this title. You investigate the case of a girl who suffered a mental breakdown after witnessing horrible. She made numerous drawings of what she saw and pinned them around a room. To solve the case, you can look at the pictures but most important, you can travel into her drawings and live the events she saw. The game's spooky and eerie with a touch of paranormal. Kinda like "clue meets Fringe (or x-files)". At first, I thought art of crime made sense but I feel now that it's a) doesn’t reflect the essence of the game enough B) not catchy. Can anyone help me? (I made a devlog and a preview video if it can help)
