Indie Brawl, one of TIGSource's two community projects, has reached a major milestone in its development.

The project began a little over a year ago with a simple idea- 'let's create a fighting game that pits the stars of indie games against each other!' The concept was promising and popular enough that it was adopted as a community project. Since then, the project has taken off. Volunteers fueled the project's development by contributing ideas, graphics, music and code.

Now, thanks to the efforts of everyone involved with the project, Indie Brawl is ready for its first major public release. With three completed characters, three completed stages, and six more characters in the works, it is shaping up to be a great multiplayer game.

The latest version of Indie Brawl is always available here.

So try it out and let us know what you think. And if the project interests you, and you'd like to contribute something to it, head on over to the Indie Brawl forum. The project could never have made it this far without the support of the community, and this continued support will be necessary for the game to be completed.

Online play would be sweet, but should definitely wait till the game is complete and balanced.

I never really take tier lists seriously, but I always finding myself looking at them.
