This is so embarrassing. http://www.farbs.org/?p=113#commentsI got food poisoning on a scout trip to france so I couldnt see my girlfriend when I got back today. This annoyed her. And because I like to read blogs she and her friend spammed one I like to read. I don't even understand what she means either. I just showed her the games on the website about a month ago. Anybody else think this is extremely childish? Now I'm being laughed at for being a "nerd". What can I do?

Get a new girlfriend?
I wouldn't want to be with someone who tries to punish me or publicly humiliate me just because I got sick.

dump her.
I'm serious. She's being a selfish jerkface and you shouldn't put up with her if she and her "friend" don't respect your interests and pull shit like this just because you're sick.

tell her she's just being mean and work your problems out by talking about your feelings to eachother
or sodomize kittens, whatever floats your boat

That's...something. What I wanted to say (but everyone else said): At the very least, tell her that she's just being mean(seeing as the only thing you did was being sick)- preferably, talk to her about why she doesn't respect your hobbies/interests- at worst; what Tanner said.

I sense many people tiptoeing around using the word 'Bitch'. She's a real... meanie! Tell her she's being a... mean person! Do it.

Yeah not a fan of implying. Much prefer imploding.

Wow, how old is she again? Seriously, talk to her about it, but if she doesn't see sense, then move on.

You have all the right to be upset - and show it to her. If she is sorry and tries to make up for it, forgive her, if she doesn't get moved, well, do you really want to spend the rest of you with such an insensitive partner?
Show her how you feel about it first, then see what her reaction is.

A cryptic statement on the internet is not a reason to dump someone. Maybe it could be the straw that breaks the camel's back, but I wouldn't know, that's for you to decide. Be reasonable. And why on earth is TIGSource your source of relationship advice?

Adam: You're a nerd. I'm a nerd. 'round here we're all nerds, and being a nerd is wonderful. Anyone who tries to make you feel bad about that is an arsehole and is most likely attacking you to cover for their own insecurities. If the 94 in your nick is your year of birth then don't worry about it too much - most 15 year olds are insecure arseholes. It's not really their fault, and they'll get over it.
I usually don't like comment moderation but right now I think it's called for. I've made some minor adjustments.
