Aha this sounds like a bad april fools joke.

Well I don't really care about artistic intergrity as the buyer company has alerady proven it can manage some more adult oriented stuff. But I'm a bit worried seing them put their monopolistic hands everywhere.

I don't think there are many Marvel comics that I don't hate anyway so it wouldn't matter much to me what they end up sticking their dicks into. I can't remember if Marvel owns any other labels that I do care about, though.

Emma Frost and all the other "Skimpys" are gonna look real funny when Disney is done retouching them to fit into the palette.

Oh. My. God.  Epileptic

Is it safe to kiss Marvel vs. Capcom 3 good-bye now?

Isn't it already bad enough that disney sold-out a long time ago? Giving up what made them awesome and special just for money...Smooth, crappy shading on animated characters...3d mickey mouse for toddlers???...They don't make shorts like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fouOtd50gOU anymore.

The last movie they made that I liked was Emperor's new groove.

Fuck, I miss old cartoons.

I'm going to cry my bird eyes out now.

IIRC, as part of the deal with Pixar, John Lasseter got them to agree to recreate their 2d animation studio, basically because he was pissed off that they tried to blame what was simply shit work on 'archaic' animation technology and believes that 2d animation still has a lot to offer. Hopefully that means they'll be making awesome 2d animation again at some point.

I don't think Marvel has anything to do with japanese spiderman. o.o

Haha, I wonder what my brother will say about it.

Okay, question: Should I create a game box-art competition about this?

yeah- they're doing the princess and the frog, which looks pretty good so far.

Guys. Remember Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

No Disney mashup will ever be as good as that. It's too late. Modern day Disney cannot pull off a mashup like that without making a big deal over the fact that it's a mashup, which will ruin it. When I first watched Roger Rabbit, I was too young to even know that Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse were owned by different companies, but Roger Rabbit did not dwell on it aside from the fantastic piano scene, and instead focused on a truly interesting story.

(I would love to be proven wrong.)

Wasn't Roger Rabbit a Warner Brothers movie?
...And the piano scene was between Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, right?
