Will this be an individual thing or will teams be allowed?

I've never made a program with a gui before, never mind a game, but I'll try and enter. At the very least it'll kick start me into learning C++/opengl Smiley

I too would be interested, though as others, I shall complain and whine about my lack of available time for such frivolous pursuits. Wink Expect extremely retro submissions from yours truly!

Alrighty, next week sounds nice because it matches with this year 7DRL challenge (ah, the cruel fate...), so I may kill two ducks in a BFG shoot.

Off course, it all depends on the restrictions on this competition, hopefully the rules will be set soon and I may confirm :D

I'd be into it. Should provide some encouragement to get something done.

This could be fun, but I won't be able to enter anything else for another couple of weeks or so. Depending on when it's held, I'd like to partake.

I really like this idea. And I would surely participate if time constraints would fit. As for the restrictions I'd propose to choose some "abstract" keywords, so people can show some invention ;].

Been wanting to make a game with Blender Game Engine for quite some time. This would be a good opportunity Kiss

Wouldn't mind teaming up with someone (preferably a music man or pixel painter.. or both? Grin). So PM me if you're interested and we'll make shit happen.

edit:

Oh, oh, I wanna be on team Manhugs!

How would anyone feel about the use of Virtools and/or Unity? Cus, like, that's what I know.  Well, that and Flash. But boo-urns to making stuff in Flash when 3d is available.

I'm all for it, if it means that developers can spend more time working on gameplay, working on art, working on design.. and less time making sure that their collision detection works good.

I'd like to see a bunch of cool, complete games.

Word!  My sentiments exactly.  I'll try to get something going with this next week.  April = TIGSource Compo Month!
