Hey guys,

I still get a couple of mails every now and then about updating this game, since it was a bit too broken for most people to enjoy it before. Also, the motion blur killed the performance on weaker systems, so I uploaded a version without motion blur this time.

The whole idea behind this demo was to find out whether my framework is efficient enough to crate a decent little co-op jump 'n run on a weekend - so don't expect too much Smiley I still think it's a fun little title though and even though the graphics are minimalistic (Heavily inspired by 'Being struck by lightning'), it has some charm Smiley

Objective: Collect all the marbles through the power of teamwork.

Controls:

Zip:

Arrow Keys: Move
Z = Jump
X = Action (Early in the game, you have to open the door - it says press 'B' to open door, that refers to the Xbox360 Controller. If you play with a keyboard, 'B' means 'X' Smiley)

Henk:

NumPad 4: Move Left
NumPad 6: Move Right
NumPad +: Jump

As you might see on the flawed keyboard layout, it wasn't really designed to being played with a keyboard. In a perfect world, you'd test it with two connected Xbox360 Controllers and a buddy to help with the teamwork aspects.

Have fun, I'd still love to know what you guys are thinking. I ran out of time to create a boss at the end, so there's no real gratification for completing it and in this version the game simply kills itself when the timelimit runs out. Hope you guys enjoy it nevertheless Smiley

interesting, didn't like the music though. had to mute it.

the game runs fine on my end. but Zip's awful run delay and extreme acceleration/lack of friction makes it impossible to progress after 18/16 marbles and you have to make the jump where it says "Good things come to those who wait"  It's almost impossible to make that jump. I press z right at the edge and the darn key-delay kicks in and I fall, so I press z slightly before the edge and I miss the jump  Angry
