This is something I've been thinking about, ever since I wrapped up Bucky Swash. For those who've never heard of it, Patch Together is a website where you can submit designs for resin-molded figures. The designs are promoted after being given so many votes, and then after receiving so many pre-orders. From what I've seen so far, the models are faithful to the original designs, and can be relatively affordable. I personally would love to see one of my characters as a figure, but of course that's just me. So what about you guys- would you be interested at all in owning something like this?

Whoa, that's awesome! The figures they make are really faithful to the artwork too. I've always dreamed of something like this, being able to submit artwork and have them recreated as actual figures.

I want one of various indie game heroes, like for example. That would be superb.

Everyone submit some stuff there, especially Derek. I'd pay for a Spelunky figure.

I'm presuming you couldn't submit copyright type characters such as Mario, Samus... =[

Because it's a commercial service, it wouldn't be possible/fair to use someone else's character designs. On the other hand, I find it pretty interesting that the LOLWUT pear has its own figure now...

UrsulaV is (and always has been) the original creator of the biting pear. Even after 4chan took it and turned it into their own little meme.

Ah, that makes sense- I never really knew the origin story of the pear, but that makes me feel a lot better about the figure being there now.
