Ah, good, another Awesome Art thread. We used to have one, but I think it got lost. At least, I can't find it anymore. ANYWAY,  Shaun Tan. I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's possibly my favourite. Mostly does picture books.  Do I win a prize? ALSO: Pina is fantastic! |

YES! Shaun Tan has most badass drawings ever! My favorite book has to be The Arrival (Some pages from The Arrival)    I also got the pleasure of meeting Mr Tan! It was awesome! He came around to my primary school and brought some of his original pictures from the books! |

 That must've been so cool. I remember being wowed by The Rabbits when I was 6. So grim, and yet so beautifully illustrated. I must track down all of his books I haven't yet read! Especially The Arrival. |

If we're doing awesome sci-fi art, how about some Chris Foss? Or Mr. H. R. Giger? Masters in their fields, IMHO.
