There's way too much good stuff out/coming out, both mainstream and indie.

Look at all the indie awesomeness on the front page and forums.

I have a copy of Brutal Legend I bought off Tim Schafer at the Alternative Press Expo and I don't know when that's going to see the inside of my Xbox.

I still haven't played Fallout 3.

L4D2 is coming out soon.

Good Old Games is always enticing me with old PC classics I missed out on.

Fallout 3 wasn't that great. I still prefer the old fallout games. Brutal Legend looks pretty good though, I need to get that. I might get L4D2 but the first game was only fun for a little bit then they announced this game. I'm going to wait for the reviews and see if it's worth buying.

That reminds me, I really need to finally get round to installing Psychonauts. Had the game for over a year now and still not played it.

Fallout 3 wasn't that great.

Yeah, I've got a ton of mods installed, and it's still only okay. You really have to go out of your way for it to be entertaining, if you play. If you plan to, DON'T play vanilla. DON'T play a console version. Play the game till you get out of the vault, then stop, download a crapload of mods, install them all, and start a new game.

Sooooo... that new Silent Hill game could be cool.  Smiley

Probably won't be, though.  Sad

Yeah, trying to play games in the last half of the year always feels like drowning.  There's just WAAAAY too much going on.  Especially if, like me, you actually play the obscure stuff for each and every console/handheld, play pc games, and still pay attention to the indie scene.

I need like 40 hours in every day just to keep up.  Facepalm

I'd write a devlog about my current game, but I'm too busy making it.

I'm kinda pondering to buy Brutal Legend, but I kinda fear I won't enjoy the game since I don't care much for metal (and never really did).

Also I'm currently more than occupied with Demon's Souls anyway. For fuck's sake guys, if you have a PS3 collecting dust somewhere in the corner, dust it off quick and GET THIS GAME! It's absolutely amazing and it still puzzles me because it consists of a bunch of game mechanics and elements that should suck horribly by all accounts, but somehow the way they work together makes for probably the best RPG I've played in the last 5 years.

The thing I love most about it is probably that it's not just difficult for the sake of being difficult, but almost makes the difficulty a game mechanic, if you will. Literally everything, from the combat to the way you (have to) familiarize yourself with the intricacies of each level would be totally different (and nowhere near as gripping) if it was an easier game. Hell, even the dark and "harsh" setting and atmosphere seems to go in line with the difficulty.   Hand Shake LeftKissHand Shake Right

I've been playing mostly old DOS games in DOSBOX recently. Sorcerian has been eating up all my time. I don't know why I'm so addicted to the game. It's archaic as hell with choppy scrolling and very dated graphics and gameplay, but something about it is so engrossing. It's like a platform RPG roguelike (with permadeath and everything sans the random dungeons) where your party members follow you around like the "Options" in Gradius. It's hard to explain without actually playing the game but I have been playing it nonstop.

Here's a video of it, but you can't really get a feel of what the game is like without playing it:

I've got that well covered.

I really should have bought Machinarium by now but I'm saving up for Borderlands which got pushed back like a week. I'm just glad I don't have a huge backlog of games that I intend to buy, all that's on there is ARMA II of which I have absolutely no excuse not have gotten by now.

The second Lost Winds game came out on wiiware today. That looks pretty cool!

I'm mainly looking forward to Crystal Bearers, Tales of Graces and Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

I'm not much into any new game. I'm playing Arkham Asylum, which is okay, and I'll check Borderlands, but that's it on the PC, and it has heating problems, so playing new games is kind of a pain, and I don't have any new console.

But I still have almost too many good games.

I have a PS2, and my list of games to play there just keeps growing.

I also have too much debts with old games, like the castlevanias I haven't played, Earthbound, or the 26 gb of TurboGrafix CD I have, which I should check someday, 'cause I don't even know what they are.
